It’s not a hidden truth that servant Leaders came from God, a fact that can’t be ignored. It’s emancipating in Transamara as MP aspirant Hon Joel Tasur overwhelmingly impacted the lives of girls and young women through his initiative dubbed “Happy Girl.”

Hon Tasur’s empowerment has greatly been applauded by the people of Kilgoris Constituency, Narok County as since the past few days; during and after the Jamhuri Day, over 500 girls smiled with sanitary towels, got motivated through career talks, education on FGM alongside pregnancies being witnessed among the young girls in the constituency.
These empowerment events took place at Emarti, Olmeoshi and the reward of the best and winning teams in Kimintet Ward happened at Esoit Naiborr, something that has never been felt before. Several coordinators belonging to different youth groups in the constituency have expressed a lot of gratitude as they witness the growing development in the community.
Kelvin Konchellah, the coordinator of Nasila Youth Group led the function. The coordinator appeared so overwhelmed in the manner that the project was conducted in a very successful approach. He therefore, called upon any well-wishers or and sponsors to step in and offer their upper hand toward helping the groups to access extra sanitary items.
Adding to his remarks, he expressed his great gratitude and thanking their lead sponsor, Hon Joel Tasur for his kind heart toward providing the sanitary towels and sponsoring the events.
Additionally, Victoria Silantoi, the chair lady of Enkara Nasila Youth Group had her words to say.
“We thank God for everything He has done today. Thanks Emarti people for the Cooperation, 500 girls was a big number. Thanks Hon Joel Tasur for the great help in assisting the girl child,” lauded Silantoi.
Ultimately, Robaa Lekata, the ground mobilizer for the youth groups also echoed the commendable work.
“Exploring intentions that can work to improve access to sanitation facilities improve hygiene awareness and address girls’ absence from schools. Kilgoris needs leaders whose actions positively impact on their residents’ lives “said Lekuta.
He added that other Kilgoris leaders should borrow a leaf from Hon Tasur and follow his footsteps of giving back to the community.
On the other hand, youth leaders in Kilgoris celebrate the attainment of sports and talents goals. This came after the big awards day in Esoit Naibor where the four best teams were rewarded with Kes 20,000, 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000 respectively.
Salenta Junior, the Chairman of the board that facilitated the tournament across the county thanked all the teams that participated in the tournament until the knockout stage. He urged the teams to observe more discipline as ahead of the constituency league.
Wilson Titoo, the Constituency Coordinator also extended his congratulations note to all teams while giving thanks to Hon Tasur for the support citing that the constituency has got 176 teams.
All thanks went to superman for providing all that was required including balls, nets among other sports items that made the tournament a success.
On her congratulations note as well, Mrs. Sialo was not left urging the county sports department to consider them in the next tournaments as that is one way of fostering and nurturing talents among the young people. Adding to this, she sent her kind request Nick Mwendwa, the head of FKF, NGOs and companies can offer corporate Responsibility to support them with extra sports uniforms and Shoes. Women league was what Mrs. Sialo mentioned in her remarks saying that it will soon begin. Her sentiments were echoed by Nolorami Koopito (FKF women rep) who said that plans have been put in place ahead of the women football league. Nolarami also requested potential sponsors to step in and help in facilitating the women league.
In the general remarks regarding Kilgoris empowerment, Elias Musunkuli, the head of FKF referee thanked all teams for conducting themselves well in the knockout stage where minimal indiscipline cases were witnessed. Elias thanked Hon Tasur for promising to pay for the first teams in every ward to participate in the leagues while promising Tasur for tireless support to foster and achieve football dreams in the entire County. He finalized his remarks by urging other leaders to follow the suit in order to realize the future of the young people.
